We had a fabulous time again. the garden is amazing and the boys have enjoyed the freedom and the swings. This is our fifth time and I have been assured by Rufus that there will be a sixth.

“Awesome cottage in an awesome location. Wonderful gardens and very peaceful. The cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and was well positioned for some great coastal and inland walks. With Dinas Cross an easy walk, Newport 5 minutes drive away and Fishguard 10 minutes drive there were plenty of pubs and eateries to keep us fed and watered. Richard & Lyn were excellent hosts and we hope to be back again soon for further exploration of the beautiful Pembrokeshire.”

“We had a super week, blessed by excellent weather, and explored as much of the coast as we could in the 6 days we had. Also enjoyed wading across the river for a swim on Newport Sands. It was so hot we had to cool off in the sea! That doesn't happen very often!”

“We’ve just returned from a fabulous short break at Tan Y Bryan and already thinking about when we can return. The cottage is wonderful with everything we needed for our stay - the photos really don’t do it justice. The location was perfect and within walking distance from the coast which allowed Us to explore the stunning coastal walks. Would thoroughly recommend.”

“Y Beudy is lovely ! Immaculate, contemporary & beautifully maintained & equipped & on a quiet lane down to a pretty unspoilt beach to connect with the coast path.
This is a stunning part of Wales & there are lovely walks from the cottage including to Newport with it's selection of pubs & restaurants. A short walk along footpaths to Dinas & you can catch the Poppit Rocket to Fishguard & experience the challenging climb & wonderful views from Dinas Head on your walk back. We were able to walk over 60 miles of the most amazing coastline & it was wonderful to return to a lovely cottage for an indulgent bath & a glass of wine by the wood burner.We were lucky to be able to extend our stay to 10 day & would love to return.”

“We have been holidaying in Pembrokeshire for many years and have stayed in a number of cottages. Y Beudy was definitely one of the best!
Richard kept in touch and once we arrived at the cottage, we found everything that we might need. The cottage was spotless and very tastefully furnished, in a comfortable, yet unfussy style. The Christmas tree was a lovely touch, as were the 'welcome' gifts of wine and chocolates.
The peaceful location was wonderful and to be able to take a short walk down to the sandy cove, was a fantastic experience.
We all felt our week away was a great experience.
Thank you, Richard, (especially for the quick phone call, when we had left for home without some important medicines!) We would love to return in the future.”

“This holiday was originally booked pre - pandemic. The owners very kindly rolled over the booking for two years, so we were finally able to take it in 2022. The cottage was so clean and well presented. We had everything we needed. A beautiful location in the owners ground, it was so quiet and peaceful with stunning views. We were greeted by the owner and invited to walk around their immaculately kept large garden.

The local pub in Dinas village was not serving food all week, we did eat in the nearby hotel, but did not feel it was great value, so most of the week we ate in the cottage which was fine.
Having such beautiful weather all week really made the holiday relaxing and enjoyable. Each day spent exploring the lovely beach bays and dramatic cliff coastline. Cardigan and Newport are worth a visit.”

“We had a lovely relaxing break. We had not been away due to the COVID outbreak and was nervous but the cottage had all the COVID precautions in place and we were instantly at ease. The cottage had everything we needed, close to the coastal path, local shop and the pub. The views were amazing. Richard (the owner) was so helpful and the wine and welsh cakes on our first day was a great touch and went down very well. We can’t wait to come back.”
